FlorenceIN in collaboration with The Florentine presents an evening of presentations and conversation in English on the topic:


MEDIATING CULTURAL EXCHANGE
Facing issues of adaptation and integration working in Florence and Tuscany

7pm: The debate will begin with presentations by the organizers:

FlorenceIN association by president Laura De Benedetto

The Florentine - English language newspaper by Marco Badiani

 

Anglo-Florentine speakers will discuss their personal and work experiences in relation to the theme of cultural exchange:

8:30PM: wine-tasting and buffet-aperitivo

 

MENU:

"Cool American Summer Buffet"

Pastry Boats with a mousse of goats' cheese

 Turkey flavoured with lemon and rosemary

Mixed green salad with fresh fruit

Summer potato salad

 Moist Chocolate Cake

 

Accompanied by wine tasting of two whites and one red wine.


LOCATION: Together Florence Inn, via de Gasperi, 6 Bagno a Ripoli (FI).

This is a brand new hotel constructed by the Tognozzi group, featuring modern décor, bar, restaurant, and swimming pool, just minutes from the Firenze Sud exit of the A1 autostrada and a short ride to downtown Florence.

There is ample free parking at this location in the hotel's dedicated lot.

Bus line 23 "Sorgane" (stop name: Sorgane / end of the line). In the evening, this bus runs every 8-10 minutes.

 

COST: 10,00 € per person.
