II Anniversary of The Florentine

The Florentine 2nd birthday

Many thanks to those who were able to attend the 2nd anniversary party of The Florentine!

We were thrilled to celebrate this grand occasion with so many of our readers, writers, and friends. Among our honoured guests were Assessore Giani of the Comune di Firenze, Nora Dempsey - Consulate General of the United States and many other really cool people.

The event also proved successful for the Dynamo Foundation as many participants, in addition to their admission fee, chose to make generous individual donations! Dynamo” is the Italian affiliate of Paul Newman’s Hole in the Wall Foundation.  See holeinthewallcamps.org

The festivities included music, dancing, a theatrical performance by FESTA and many personal acknowledgements to those that have contributed so much to the success of The Florentine. We appreciate the support and want to say that we are very proud of the work that we do.

We look forward to many more years of providing “The News and Views In and Around Florence”!
